Nicola Heather Goss - 2024
Nicola is a coloured pencil pet portrait and wildlife animal artist based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, UK. She started painting again in January 2023 after a 30 year break due to work, family commitments and then illness. She has MS (diagnosed 10 years ago) and is now medically retired and started painting again for her mental health and to meet new people who are like minded and love art.
She has been developing her style over the last year and a half and is now finding her feet and developing her unique style. With the help of her daughter she has set up a website and an online shop, and is on Instagram and Facebook. She is starting to get some followers and interest. She draws on either Drafting Film, Pastelmat or Velour using lightfast coloured pencils. She has no formal training and is learning online with the Bonny Snowdon academy. She does local markets and shows and displays work at the Hitchin information centre.
