Gill Ayre - 2024
Gill is an established local artist, working from a studio at her home in Wheathampstead. She is primarily a painter, working in oils, acrylics and mixed media on canvas or panels. Rooted in landscape, communicating a sense of place rather than direct representation, Gill’s work is process driven, using acrylics, collage and mixed media.
Gill is a graduate in Fine Art (1st Class Hons), an Alumni of Digswell Arts, and an active member of Herts Visual Arts. She has exhibited and sold work through a variety of events, art fairs, solo and group exhibitions, and commissions.
