Jackie Henderson - 2024
Jackie was born in Northern Ireland and went to Art College in the middle of Belfast City 1968-73. She has a Dip AD in Fashion and Textiles, Belfast, and an Art Teachers Certificate, Goldsmith's London. She designed for C and A and BHS; has been a fashion journalist, and had her own weekly column in a NI newspaper; and has worked as an art and needlework teacher in secondary education in London, as an art therapist, and as an art teacher in adult education, Ealing and West Herts College.
Mostly retired, Jackie enjoys Nature at its best and worst while en plein air painting and sketching. Larger studio works are informed by these little treasures! She works primarily in oils.
