Gill Ayre - 2022
Gill is an established local artist, working from a studio at her home in Wheathampstead. She is primarily a painter, working in oils, acrylics and mixed media on canvas. Her work is an emotional and contemplative response to landscape, and is primarily process driven, allowing a semblance of landscape to emerge out of loose and expressive applications of paint. She has exhibited and sold work through a variety of events, art fairs, solo and group exhibitions, and commissions.
Gill is a graduate in Fine Art (1st Class Hons) of University of Bedfordshire, an Alumni of Digswell Arts, an active member of Herts Visual Arts and a member of the Wynd Gallery in Letchworth.
