Eleanor Sidaway - 2022
Eleanor works in a variety of media. She started painting, exhibiting and teaching silk painting, including batik where a hot wax resist is used. Alongside this she has worked with water soluble oils and acrylic paint, often on a prepared textured ground or painting over collage.
Eleanor is inspired by nature: flowers, trees, leaves, landscape, but also has a fascination with still life, grouping collections of favourite objects.
