Ybo Vass - 2025
Ybo Vass is a Transylvanian-born, St Albans-based multidisciplinary artist and designer. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca, she specialises in oil painting and ceramic design. Her work draws on a rich heritage of folklore, landscape, and storytelling, expressed through both fine art and fashion.
Ybo designs ladies’ footwear, handbags, and accessories, blending heritage aesthetics with modern form and function. A member of the St Albans Art Society, she was awarded the Edward Bevin Cup in 2024 and was included on the extended longlist of the Jackson’s Art Prize.
