Yan Yun Gao - 2022

Yan Yun Gao is a self taught artist, who loved art when she was a child but unfortunately she did not have a chance to learn anything about art until when in her 40s she signed her six year old son up for a workshop about oil painting during the summer holidays. Her son didn’t show any interest in painting; but Yan Yun asked if she could take his place; and from that day, Yan has never stopped painting with great enthusiasm.

Yan desperately wants to learn everything related to art. She is learning by books and videos, and has attended many workshops, galleries and museums. Visiting art galleries, museums, she doesn’t want to miss any chance to learn about painting. Her art works can be very realistic still life. The landscape paintings she paints show very tranquil, calm scenes, and are very spiritual and healing.
