Since getting back to the easel, Tracey Gardner’s work has been pre-selected for the Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition and she has also exhibited in the West End with The Tite Street Group, at the Chelsea Arts Society’s Annual Exhibition 2017, 2018 and 2026, the Society of Fulham Artists and Potters and The Friends of Holland Park Annual Art Exhibition 2023-2026.

Artist Statement:
The desire to capture the hidden beauty and unexpected in the familiar and everyday, continually inspires me to paint.
The space between or surrounding these objects intrigues me as much as the objects themselves, as does the transformative effect of the ever-changing light.
With broad brush strokes and a painterly style, I strive to record the moment light and shadows create an almost tangible bond between individual objects and their surroundings, before the connection is all too quickly lost.
