Sandra Berti - 2021

A Modern Contemporary Artist/Designer who graduated as a Mature Student with a BA(Hons) in 2-Dimensional Design from The University of Hertfordshire. She now works from her Loft Studio in Kimpton, Herts.
Seeing beauty in what some might not, always looking for an abstract connection. Creating from her emotions, memories and references of place, plus things she likes along the way. Over time, just like life, her paintings have evolved into a simplistic rustic ambiguous style. Scrolling between different media & texture and flipping into new colour palettes, following the ebb and flow to curate something new, adding words if she feels the need. The throw away society that we live in has challenged her to think outside the box and often creates on old fence panels and offcuts of wood... always on the lookout to see what she can paint on next. Often the painting has hidden history beneath the surface as a discarded painting has been painted over. Taking the viewer to a place of visual and physical presence of calm and intrigue.
