Richard Wheeler - 2021

Richard's paintings are mainly seascapes and landscapes in a semi-abstract, impressionistic genre. The relationship between art and poetry, especially of the sea, is reflected in his painting. He paints mainly with a palette knife in oil and acrylic. The ambience of his painting includes the Hampshire and Dorset coast, and the dramatic Jurassic coastline further west. Nearer home in Hertfordshire he seeks to capture the spirit of the Chilterns and surrounding areas. He has exhibited at galleries in Christchurch and Lymington and at exhibitions across Herts, Bucks and North London.
