Natalie Duncker - 2021
Natalie Duncker is a landscape artist who grew up in South Africa but now lives in Stevenage. She is a self-taught artist working in acrylic and watercolours, whose art is deeply influenced by African fauna and flora.
While the majority of her work is of land and seascapes, she also paints animals and birds. Natalie was recently selected as a finalist for the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year 2021. She has also exhibited as part of the Letchworth Open 2020 and Hertford Art Trail 2020.
Her work is mainly on commissions which are very personal to the buyers. She tries to capture memories and create artwork which would encourage conversation. Her work leaves enough space for interpretation but with a deep connection to the subject.
