Memona Hulf - 2023
Memona Hulf is a contemporary artist working mostly in oils. Her early training was in biological sciences, manipulating and cloning genes as a research scientist, a science teacher and making TV programmes.
Her artistic training included courses in oil and acrylic painting at the University of Hertfordshire, Oaklands College and Insight School of Art. Memona has always been drawn to the energy contained in living organisms, in people, trees and the landscapes they inhabit and most of all the light that illuminates life.
