Maisie Taylor - 2025
Maisie is an up-and-coming artist based in rural Hertfordshire. She studied fine art at A Level where she discovered an affinity for strong colour and rich textures. Her final show was a study of characterful faces, which told their own life stories in their expressions.
Since leaving school Maisie has developed a relaxed and fluid style, building on her strong use of colour to create pieces with bold impact, and a natural and contemporary feel. Her father trained as a marine biologist, and this shows in Maisie’s choice of subject for her most recent collection, which features close-up details of marine life.
As an artist, Maisie is still exploring her talent, changing subject matter and techniques frequently.
