Lucy Swinburne - 2019

Lucy’s natural style is photo-realistic and quite often people mistake her work for oils or acrylic, such is the attention to detail. She has been working as an animal portrait artist in pastel pencils for over 15 years now and has also been teaching her method of working for many years too. Lucy’s work has been exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London and The Feline Art Society in Waterloo.

In 2013, she had her first instructional art book on how to draw animals published as part of a series through Search Press. She has since gone on to write a further book for the same series on how to draw people and is publishing an updated version of the original animal’s book through Search Press as a stand-alone edition, later this year.

Lucy lives in Hertfordshire with her family and continued to work as an animal portrait artist.
