Louise Buckle - 2022

Louise was born in Malta but has spent all of her life bar the first year in the UK. She currently lives in West Essex and loves the wide spacious views of East Anglia. Having lived all over the UK, when younger, she is inspired by all the different scenery in the country.

Louise is a self taught attender of classes and workshops. She practises constantly - creatively or mentally, aiming to challenge and perfect her output. She regularly has more than one creation on the go, and finds the dynamic of switching from one to another very inspiring. Studying the art of others is another interest which keeps the creativity flowing.

Louise has used many media but has settled into acrylics and pastels, enjoying the speed these medias give her to paint fairly quickly. She belongs to two groups near where she lives: Forest Art Group and Epping Art Society. Louise has occasionally sold works local to her home and as far afield as Canada. Her subjects range from landscapes to animals and figurative works.
