Jude OSullivan - 2021

Jude started her career as a graphic designer, then progressed to teaching in the Further Education sector. Teaching graphics and printmaking she retired after becoming Head of Department for a large local college. She currently teaches all forms of printmaking at Courtyard Arts in Hertford. After engaging in a variety of printmaking techniques her recent work has seen her return to screen printing. Created from paper stencils, these hand pulled prints use a minimum of 5 colours. Each colour is pulled through the screen separately combining translucent and opaque pigments. The process is a voyage of discovery with some surprising successes and some learning curves.
