John Ilsley - 2019
John was inspired with watercolours from a very early age by his uncle's paintings, which were admired by all members of the family.
As soon as John had time at his retirement he decided after a very short spell this would be his number one hobby, and he is still painting nearly 20 years later with no chance of stopping!
During this time several awards, and commissions have been achieved, including pub and restaurant groups who required fresh local scenes to complement some of their refurbishment programmes.
