Jo Newson - 2019

Jo lives in Hertfordshire with her husband, two dogs and a handful of chickens.

Her interests at school were Art and PE. After school she went to Art and Design college. In the following years she continued to draw, usually in pastels. She now uses an assortment of mediums, including watercolour, oils, ink and coloured pencil.

She specialises in drawing her first love of wildlife and animals, as well as detailed pet portraits. Her art spans realistic drawings to cartoons and four dogs that appear in her artwork now have quite a following on Facebook, appearing yearly on Christmas cards she designs, which sell worldwide
