Jane Upstone - 2019
Jane is a professional artist who produces both abstract and figurative work. She views drawing and painting as her way of exploring and understanding the world around her. Traces of what has gone before are an important part of her working process, and she builds up and removes layers as she creates her finished work. Her ambition is to capture something of the essence of a place and season rather than a literal interpretation of it.
