Bel Bluemel - 2019

After Bel completed her full time degree in Art and Design as a mature student at Hertfordshire University she continued her studies and obtained the ‘University Certificate in Art Therapies’. After leaving university she held her first solo exhibition at the Apthorp Gallery in Radlett and has continued to participate in many exhibitions including the Mall Galleries in London .

Bel has also enjoyed working on the Committee of the Harpenden Arts Club as both the Programme and Publicity Secretary and currently as the Editor of the Club’s newsletter.

Bel’s aim in her artwork is to create strong imagery, inspired by life and the imagination through experimentation in a wide range of media focusing mainly on printmaking, painting and photography.
