Audrey Imber - 2018
Audrey has painted all her life but came to serious formal training only in retirement. Her work is inspired by the landscape in all its moods.
She obtained a Fine Art Foundation Diploma at Hitchin College for the Arts and went on to gain a Fine Art Degree from The University of Bedfordshire in 2015. She joined the Eagle Gallery in Bedford, is a member of the Bedfordshire Artists network and The Herts Visual Arts group.
In 2016 Audrey was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and had two paintings hung in the Mall galleries, London as part of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters annual exhibition.
In 2017 she was prize winner in the Artists and Illustrators ‘Artist of the Year’ competition.
In September 2017 she was a founder member of Letchworth’s Wynd Gallery and instrumental in forming the artist collective that supports and runs its activities
